Inland Developments/Stephen Wicks Developments

 

Stephen Wicks has worked in the property and construction industry throughout his working life and has been hugely successful in the sector. He is Managing Director of Stephen Wicks Developments, a family-run business that buys and develops buildings in the Shropshire area for resale or for holiday lets.

He is also Chief Executive of Inland plc, a company that develops urban regeneration projects around Southern England and that specialises predominantly in Brownfield developments and it was in this capacity that he came across Linda's consultancy service.

Linda and Stephen had first met when she worked for his previous business Country and Metropolitan, and Stephen was delighted to re-employ her services as a consultant when she contacted him to say that she had set up her own business.

Stephen said:

I had been approached by many people wanting to work with Inland plc but when Linda let me know she had become a consultant I readily agreed to talk to her. Having seen her work first hand at Country and Metropolitan, I was relieved to use someone who, in my eyes, was tried and tested.

 

It is testimony to Linda's ability that she works with Stephen across both his business interests and within Stephen Wicks Developments she has been retained to identify potential property and then liaising with the estates to purchase viable units that she then helps to project manage from conversion to interior design.

He continued:

Linda is very versatile and has the extensive knowledge of the property industry that you expect from someone with her experience. She carries out a wide range of functions for us from undertaking market research and compiling reports on potential projects to re-designing brochures. In essence she can deal with anything I throw at her. Linda is highly competent and I intend to retain her services long term at both Stephen Wicks Development and Inland plc.
